Meal Planning Monday – 20th July

HOLIDAYS! Woop. I am very much looking forward to enjoying the next 6 weeks off, hopefully trying out a few new recipes and cooking up some exciting meals. That said, this week is pretty simple and straight forward. There’ll also be far too much chocolate consumed, there are boxes and boxes sitting in the cupboard after we were both given lots of presents at the end of term…which is lovely, but not so good for me trying to cut out some sugar..!

    Cutting out sugar is really hard as I’m discovering too. I made raw granola bars yesterday, they are pretty good, just flavoured with the fruit so no need for sugar. I love baking too much to get rid of it completely, I have been knocking down the amounts though and that’s going well, sometimes you can pretty much half it and not notice!
    I haven’t had fish ‘n chips in ages, I may deviate from the plan at the weekend and have a fish supper πŸ™‚ Enjoy your week and the holidays!
