Meal Planning Monday – 14th September

Well, it’s been a while. I planned meals sporadically over the summer holidays, but haven’t really in the last couple of weeks. The effect on our eating can be seen; we’ve eaten more pasta than I care to mention and not enough vegetables. Now work’s back in full swing, it’s time to jump back on the bandwagon and get my meal planning back on 🙂


Chicken Noodle soup (and use the extra chicken to make chicken couscous salad for my lunches)


Jacket potatoes with egg mayo, beans and cheese


Salmon and broccoli pasta


Bangers and mash (using some swede and carrot in the mash)


Pasta Carbonara (super simple version using soft cheese for the sauce)


We’ll be at my Dads so probably out for a meal


Sandwich on the way home

And by next week it’s only 5 weeks til half term. Praise the Lord 🙂
