Despite the fact that we are (in theory) moving house in a weeks time, we decided to pop out to the Peak District whilst looking after my Mum’s dog last weekend. The result was a rather long wait for a rather delicious lunch of egg sandwich with chips, randomly bumping into our wedding photographers, and finally a lovely walk up Padley Gorge with some pretty stunning scenes captured by my Mr.
He’s getting into his photography more and more, having now added two weddings, an engagement and a newborn shoot to his repertoire. This, however, was just a simple walk on a Sunday afternoon, enjoying the still green trees that are starting to turn as Autumn settles in. Enjoy 🙂
Just look at those colours! And such a blue sky
It’s still so green…waiting for Autumn to take full effect
All photos are the property on my lovely husband and please don’t claim them as your own!
Autumn is such a gorgeous season, I love the colours and the crispy leaves. The air’s getting pretty crisp now as well, this last week in particular has felt so cold! It’s been leaf collages and conker collecting at school for the last week or so, but it was lovely to go out to where it’s not quite so autumnal just yet. Hopefully by half term the scene will be full of coppers, yellows and reds. We’ll have to make time to go back to another woody area to make the most of the colours!
Happy Autumn 🙂
