Dear me, I have been neglectful, haven’t I? It’s been nearly a month since I blogged at all now. Clearly I’m not hardcore enough… 😉
Holidays have been fab, full of relaxing and doing very little, seeing friends and baking cakes. Banana bread is my new favourite thing, early mornings are not. I’ve read a few books, started the next stage of my latest knitting project (a baby cardigan…it’s slow progress) and booked ourselves a trip to Hungary for a wedding. A week in Paris with friends has been followed with a few quiet weeks at home. My husband got a job (hooray!), so he’s been working hard whilst I, for the most part, chill out. A few bits of babysitting here and there, helping out friends from church. Stick hunting and reading books…oh and fracturing a tooth on a coffee table (little boy, not me, and his mum was also present!) and getting soaked in the fountains.
As the beginning of school looms closer than I’d like, I’m going to dwell on the holidays a little longer and share some photos from my summer 🙂 starting with my trip to Paris…

And so endeth the summer holiday. One weekend left, it’ll be a quiet one, gearing up for the chaos that will undoubtedly ensue once school starts again. Bring it on (or don’t…just saying).
